Birch Writing Solutions was launched in April 2007 by Lesley MacCulloch. After many years overseeing the production of professional and effective training materials – materials that were conducive to the needs of their audience – Lesley knew she could create a national service that helped businesses and individuals from all fields to deliver a more articulate product, and one that conveyed their intended message.
And so Birch Writing Solutions was born. Lesley’s aim was to help clients increase their credibility and achieve distinction through their written communications, thereby setting their own benchmarks within their industry. The company evolved as Lesley realised that clients didn’t just want editing; they sought a range of business writing support, and the opportunity to learn more too. Hence, Lesley reviewed and updated her menu of offerings to ensure that as many clients, and potential clients, could benefit from her service.
Within a short time Lesley realised she couldn’t manage all the work herself. She implemented, and is continually undertaking, a quality selection process and now has an active and evolving range of professional editors, business writers and trainers located nationally. Every individual is carefully scrutinised to ensure that he or she meets the standard of professionalism and excellence expected by Lesley, prior to being offered the opportunity to work on a client’s project on behalf of Birch Writing Solutions.
