ABOUT LESLEY MacCULLOCH, DIRECTOR

Lesley MacCulloch launched Birch Writing Solutions in early 2007 after working for 11 years in one of Australia’s largest financial conglomerates. Her experience during the latter years included creating and managing a national learning and development team, and developing and implementing a national quality assurance framework to ensure production of a quality product. This framework included a system of pre-planning (to ensure writing goals and intentions were achieved), ongoing coaching of staff (in effective and engaging writing) and professional editing of all work (to ensure a benchmarked final product).

Lesley was also invited to sit on NSW and interstate committee groups who were developing VET-accredited and non-accredited training materials and new competencies for the workers compensation industry. 

A very firm believer in the difference good written English can make to the effectiveness of a product, Lesley encourages clients to put themselves in the position of their reading audience when writing. Even more important than the quality of their product is the ultimate reaction of their readers to their communications. Lesley moved on from corporate employment and started working closely with local and national clients who quickly recognised the value she could bring to their business.
